Cameras and Lenses

Fujifilm X-T1

This is now my primary camera and I've used it for all my images made from 2016 onwards. I think this is one of the best cameras I've ever used.

Fujinon 18-135

This is my go to lens at the moment due to the flexibility it provides. I would say that this lens is on my camera the majority of the day, especially when traveling.

Fujinon 35mm f/2

My newest lens and my first ever prime lens. I am loving this lens and the fantastic images that I've been able to capture with this. I never knew a prime lens could be so fun. I use this lens when I'm out at events with friends and family as it is non-obtrusive and I get to get fantastic portraits of friends with it.

Canon 550d

I still have this camera and used it for all my photographs prior to buying the Fujifilm. This camera was used for all my images between 2010 and 2016. Once in a while, I will take it out and use as I have Magic Lantern loaded up on it.

Sigma 18-200 f/3.5-6.5 DS OS

My default lens for the Canon while shooting. The great range that it offered made it the perfect all around lens for me. On an APS-C this is equivalent to a 27-300mm.

Canon 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 USM

This lens transformed my photography being the first truly wide angle zoom lens that I owned. It's image quality is fantastic and I recommend this for any APS-C camera owner who wants a wide angle zoom.

Tripods and Other Accessories

Brian - 3 Legged Thing

Before this tripod, I used the super cheap $10 tripods. I bought this due to it being a carbon fiber tripod that travels well. Also how cool of a brand name does it have.

Canon Remote Trigger
For all those shots when I needed a trigger to shoot off multiple exposures or long exposures, this is my go to for the Canon.

Wasabi Batteries and Charger

The one thing about the Fuji is that batteries do not last as long as on my Canon. I have an extra two batteries from Wasabi plus their charger that comes with a fantastic in-car charging cable.

Peak Design Gear

Everyday Backpack - 20L

This is one of my top photography purchases outside of actual camera gear. These bags are simply amazing and I have enjoyed every single thing in the design of these bags. I own the charcoal version of this bag.

Capture Pro

This was Peak Design's first Kickstarter campaign and it another fantastic accessory to own. I use mine in conjunction with the Everyday Backpack and clip the Capture Pro and my camera to the shoulder straps to free up my hands.

Field Pouch

I got this as part of a bundle with the Everyday Backpack and I wasn't sure how useful it would be. I was so wrong. This is a fantastic pouch to carry all the little things you have with you when on a shoot. I usually carry my spare batteries, cables, alan keys, etc...

Slide Lite

This is another example of fantastic design. The simplicity of this strap and the way it is so easy to extend or adjust is a true feat of design. I've never enjoyed a strap for a camera as I have this.
